Violent kashmir protests resounded in the serene valley of Kashmir, after the CRPF opened fire killing two civilians which included a minor boy. This incident propelled violence and aggression among the civilians. This political unrest in Kashmir can only be brought down with the intervention of the Army.

Thus the Jammu and Kashmir Government has stated that it will call in the army if the need arises. But according to sources from the NDTV, this may not be required as the situation should be under control by this Tuesday. In fact Central Forces are being pumped in to ensure that peace and order prevails in Sopore.

The security is also being beefed up on the Srinagar-Baramulla-Sopore highway. Many in Sopore have been the target of violent protests and aggression between those who carried out the kashmir protests and the security personnel.

The violence for further fuelled by emotional protestors that had gathered for the funeral of a youth who was killed at the Sunday firings. Five people were injured during the violence after the funeral procession and it also aggravated more gunfire’s and another youth succumbed to it.

The Chief Minister expressed great concerns over the aggressive actions from the paramilitary forces in response to kashmir protests by civilians.

But the Home ministry believes that the CRPF must have forced gun shots with the intention of self defense and it was not intended to hurt anybody.
