Sleiman: Stability transforms Lebanon into oasis of investment

Lebanese President Michel Sleiman highlighted Monday the role of political and security stability in transforming Lebanon into "an oasis of investment" for foreigners and Arabs.

He said after meeting with a Canadian economic delegation that the Lebanese government has succeeded in completing a series of political and security measures, the last of which was approving the 2010 state budget.

This has allowed it to focus its attention now on political and administrative reforms, which starts with administrative appointments, he added.
