The acting Palestinian Authority chief has signed the Karama Pledge to boycott goods produced in illegal West Bank settlements.
Mahmoud Abbas affixed a sticker to his door on Saturday declaring his home "free" of the offending products, the Ma'an news agency reported.
"Palestinians should not spend money on goods manufactured on land taken over by settlers," Abbas told campaign members gathered near his house.
He also praised the volunteers who are distributing pamphlets to every house in the West Bank asking people to boycott all Israeli products manufactured in the occupied Palestinian territories.
The campaign is being led by Palestinian caretaker Prime Minister Salam Fayyad.
The Karama Pledge (Pledge of Dignity) is defined as a pledge of every supporter of the Palestinian cause, the pledge of every seeker of peace, and the pledge of anyone with a conscience for human rights anywhere around the world.
The United Nations has issued over 15 resolutions confirming the illegal nature of the settlements, which Israeli has flouted.
