The restoration project, the first of its kind in the past thirty years, will begin as soon as the photogrammetry process is finished, Mehr News Agency reported.
Experts will also fix the structure's cracks, caused by ground subsidence, and clean it of plants grown on the walls.
Located at the Naqsh-e-Rustam historical site, the Cube of Zoroaster is believed by some to have been a royal Achaemenid tomb.
The structure is surrounded by a Sassanid wall, which bears four inscriptions dating to the 3rd century, the trilingual inscriptions of Shapur I and the Middle Persian inscription of the high priest Kartir.
