The post has been breated to inform you that we Muslims are not supposed to celebrate the festivals and customs set by non-muslims especially Christians and Jews.
Hence we should not indulge in wishing new year to others. This new year of christian era has no significance for us. just how many of us do know when 1st muharram arrived this time. Even some may ask what Muharram is... It is first month of Islam, for their kind information which has arrived 2 weeks back and we went on sleeping...
you know the Messenger of Allah (salla allahu alaihi wa sallam) has warned in advance,
Narrated Abu Said: The Prophet said, "You will follow the wrong ways, of your predecessors so completely and literally that if they should go into the hole of a mastigure, you too will go there." We said, "O Allah's Apostle! Do you mean the jews and the christians?" He replied, "Whom else?" (Meaning, of course, the jews and the christians.)
May Allah save us from this fitnah...
