Below is an article sent to us by one of the sincere daughters of the Ummah, Seena al Hindi. Lets see what she says...

The Qur’an teaches us through the life of an utmost sinner Fir’aun. Lets us read the Book of Allah to know what and what crimes he commited:-

1.He killed the sons of Bani Israa’el so that they could not grow up in large numbers thereby refusing to remain his slaves. (Soorah Baqarah: 49)

2.He utilized the women of Bani Israa’eel to fulfil his lusty desires. (Soorah Baqarah: 49)

3.He disintegrated the population of Misr (Egypt) into sections based upon lineage. He made one section his supporters and oppressed the other section (which was smaller in number) as discussed above.( Soorah Qasas: 4)

4.He has created extreme monarchy of his own and ruled as per his own wish keeping in view his own concern (Soorah Qasas: 4)

5.He rejected the signs of truth when they were showed to him by Allah through His messengers Moosa and Haroon alaihi ssalam. (Soorah Taha: 56)

6.He charged the messengers of Allah with creating corruption upon earth and termed them as magicians. (Soorah Taha: 57)

7.When the magicians whom he had arranged to refute the signs of Moosa alaihi ssalaam failed to draw the results of his favour and turned by Moosa’s side, he concerted a diplomatic plan: he simply told the public that they were the pupils of Moosa instead. (Soorah Taha: 71)

8.He ordered the punishment of cutting hands and feet for believing in Allah. (Soorah Taha: 71)

9.He never made any logical thing to appear in his court. All his courtiers were ruling the land illogically so as to make their concern going on. (Soorah Qasas: 39)

10.When Bani Iasraa’eel went on believing in Allah, it was unbearable to the false godly pride of Fir’aun. so he set off the erase them from earth. (Soorah Isra: 103)

11.He not only himself remain astray but led astray his people also whom disallowed to believe in Allah. (Soorah Taha: 79)

These are just a few of the crimes of Fir’aun which a novice reader of the Qur’an can sum up.A deeper insight in the Qur’an may reveal much more about his crime list.
