Eyes of a Human Being are a great blessing from Almighty Allah as revealed in a verse of the Qur'an:
Say: "It is He Who brought you into being and gave you hearing, sight and hearts. What little thanks you show!" [Qur'an, 67: 23]
And its a duty of a Muslim to Protect his Gaze from Haram as mentioned in the following Verse of the Quran:
"Say to the believing men that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty: that will make for greater purity for them: And Allah is well acquainted with all that they do. And say to the believing women that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty; that they should not
display their beauty and ornaments except what (must ordinarily) appear thereof; that they should draw their veils over their bosoms and not display their beauty except to their husbands, their fathers..." [Al-Nour, 24: 30-31]
But it has been seen that today protecting of Gaze is becoming increasingly difficult specially for people who surf the Internet.Even if one doesn't intend to,we have the obscene images and Ad's popup on our screen. Its very difficult to protect our eyes in such scenarios. Even sites which we use for checking our mails like Rediff, Yahoo, Hotmail, etc. have such images coming up frequently on their Home pages.
Here is a simple way to avoid such situations: Disable images on web pages in Internet Explorer
